Summer is just around the corner and with it comes lighter evenings, longer days and good old British festivals. From the muddy depths of Glastonbury to the more mainstream Wireless, we take a look at the best festivals the UK has to offer. Sit back, relax and get the low-down on our fave festivals for 2019.

This years’ line up is sure to entice even the most novice festival go-er. From the Killers to Kylie, Bugzy Malone to The Streets, there is always something for everyone at Glastonbury. Over the years, Glastonbury has become famous for terrible conditions and (probably voluntary) mudslides – all thanks to the formidable English summer weather! Having said that, the revellers are always smiling in every picture you see. If you are looking for a great all-rounder, with a carnival atmosphere and food from across the globe, the UK’s most famous festival is certainly a crowd-pleaser.

Reading Festival

Reading festival – the UK’s oldest running music festival – is known for its alternative music offering and this year is no exception, with Ska and Rock taking centre stage. The 2019 announcement has promised a killer line up, with the likes of The 1975, 21 Pilots and even Machine Gun Kelly signed up to perform. The culinary offerings are also sure to delight with Freakshakes, pancake stalls and monster dogs available. Don’t forget to wash it all down with the signature beer brewed exclusively for Reading. If you love a mosh pit and excessive quantities of eyeliner, Reading is definitely for you!

Wireless Festival

The most “mainstream” festival, Wireless offers the best of R&B, Garage and chart toppers such as Cardi B, Travis Scott and Tim Westwood dominating the mainstage over three epic days. The food here is also not to be missed. Kebab wraps, Donuts and iced tea served in a red cup, Wireless promises a “British seaside-cum-American wonderland” style atmosphere which is sure to set your senses alight. We can’t wait!

So there you have it, our 3 fave festivals for this summer. All we need to do now is buy a biodegradable tent, pack the sleeping bag and get ready to be drowned in mud!  Stay safe out there and have an amazing summer!

We want to hear what you think!
