Our Veetee Long Grain rice has wonderfully long, fluffy rice grains and is perfect for everyday eating occasions, from Oriental dishes to chilli con carnes and casseroles.

This 2kg block bottom pack contains 26 portions of rice, the perfect pack format for small families. 

Milled and packed in the UK.

Storage Instructions:
Store in a cool, dry place.

How to cook

On the Hob: Allow 75g (2oz) of rice per person.
1. Place 75g of rice per person into a sieve and rinse well in cold running water.
2. Add a pinch of salt (if desired) to a large pan of boiling water.
3. Add rice and return to boil. Stir once, reduce heat, then cover and simmer for 12-15 minutes or until rice is tender.
4. Drain in a sieve and serve immediately.  

In the Microwave: Allow 75g (2oz) of rice per person.
1. Add 75g of rice per person to a large non-metallic bowl, with 250ml of boiling water. Cover with microwave film and pierce.
2. Cook on full power for 81/2 minutes. then stand for 4 minutes.
3. Drain in a sieve and serve.

Microwave ovens vary, adjust cooking times accordingly.
