Our Veetee Brown Long Grain rice has a nutty texture and contains all the goodness of wholegrain.

Brown rice is naturally low in GI (glycaemic index), which means it helps keep you feeling fuller for longer. What's more, brown rice has more of the grain in tact and contains more nutrition than white rice. 

This 2kg bottom is the perfect size for easy storage, and each pack contains 26 servings. 

Milled and packed in the UK.

Ingredients

100% Brown Long Grain Rice. 

How to cook

On the Hob: Allow 75g (2oz) of rice per person.

1. Rinse 75g (3oz) rice per person and add 250ml of cold water into a large saucepan.
2. Add salt if desired, bring to the boil stir once and cover. Reduce heat and simmer gently until all the water is absorbed (20-22 minutes).
3. Fluff with a fork and serve.

In the Microwave: Allow 60g (2oz) of rice per person.

1. Rinse 75g (3oz) rice per person and 250ml of cold water into a large microwaveable container. Add salt if desired.
2. Cover and vent. Cook on full power (650w) for 18 minutes and leave to stand for 5 minutes.
3. Drain, fluff with a fork and serve.


Microwave ovens vary, adjust cooking times accordingly.
