Business Development Manager

To improve the organisation’s market position and achieve financial growth within the UK and other markets. To define long-term organisational strategic goals; build key customer relationships; identify business opportunities; negotiate and close business deals and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
Winning new business with customers that we are not currently trading with.
Work across the team/management team to identify and evaluate new markets and new profitable business opportunities, using market insight with regards to products and
knowledge of competitors.
Initiate and complete proposals and presentation for new business opportunities.
Work with Marketing colleagues in the preparation of proposals for campaigns and
promotional activities; conduct customer surveys and analyse feedback.
To maintain excellent client relationships with potential new, as well as existing clients.
Work with senior management team to develop, implement and achieve strategic sales
plan and targets for the Business.
To streamline Veetee product distribution in the UK.
Build strong customer relationships across the accounts including buying, supply chain,
finance etc. at all relevant levels.
On-going management of the sales forecast for named accounts, compilation and
analysis of sales and then updating internal systems accordingly.
Developing and training of staff e.g., graduate placements.
To protect the organisation’s value by keeping information confidential.
Enhance organisational reputation.
Any other reasonable duties associated with the role or projects assigned to meet the
overall objectives of the role.
