To improve the organisation’s market position and achieve financial growth within the UK and other markets. To define long-term organisational strategic goals; build key customer relationships; identify business opportunities; negotiate and close business deals and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions.


  • Winning new business with customers that we are not currently trading with.

  • Work across the team/management team to identify and evaluate new markets and new profitable business opportunities, using market insight with regards to products and

    knowledge of competitors.

  • Initiate and complete proposals and presentation for new business opportunities.

  • Work with Marketing colleagues in the preparation of proposals for campaigns and

    promotional activities; conduct customer surveys and analyse feedback.

  • To maintain excellent client relationships with potential new, as well as existing clients.

  • Work with senior management team to develop, implement and achieve strategic sales

    plan and targets for the Business.

  • To streamline Veetee product distribution in the UK.

  • Build strong customer relationships across the accounts including buying, supply chain,

    finance etc. at all relevant levels.

  • On-going management of the sales forecast for named accounts, compilation and

    analysis of sales and then updating internal systems accordingly.

  • Developing and training of staff e.g., graduate placements.

  • To protect the organisation’s value by keeping information confidential.

  • Enhance organisational reputation.

  • Any other reasonable duties associated with the role or projects assigned to meet the

    overall objectives of the role.

Skills & experience



Work Experience

  • Experience of branded and own label FMCG goods.

  • Experience of influencing and negotiating with teams at all levels.

  • Proven track record of working to KPI’s and achieving targets.

  • Full, clean driving licence.


Relevant degree level qualification

  • Strong commercial awareness.

  • The ability to manage relationships at all levels within the business and with


  • Excellent communication, presentation,

    and negotiation skills.

  • Pro-active starter, finisher

  • Good organisational skills.


  • Hours to do the role, which will vary according to business priorities.

  • Be willing and able to undertake regular national travel as required to manage the customer relationship.
