Veetee Arborio Risotto Rice is sown and nurtured in the lush Po Valley in Northern Italy.  Its creamy texture and plump grains are the ideal choice for a perfect risotto.

Cooking Instructions:

On the Hob:

Allow 75g (3oz) of rice per person.

  1. Heat a small knob of butter or oil in a large saucepan. 
  2. Add 300g / 12oz of rice and saute for 2 minutes, stirring continuously.
  3. Add 1.2 litres (2 pints) of boiling water or stock.
  4. Add salt if desired.  Bring to the boil and simmer for 20 minutes or until water is absorbed.
  5. Stir frequently to free sticky grains from saucepan bottom

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tip: Unlike other rice dishes, do not soak or rinse risotto rice and frequently stir during cooking.
