Cooking Instructions:
On the Hob:
- Allow 60g (2oz) of rice per person.
- Put measured rice into a saucepan.
- Add double the amount of water.
- Add salt if desired.
- Bring to the boil, stirring once, cover and simmer for 10-12
minutes or until the water is all absorbed.
- Remove from the heat and leave covered for 2 minutes.
- Fluff with a fork & serve immediately.
In the Microwave:
- Put 1 cup (4oz) of rice into a microwaveable bowl.
- Add double the amount of water.
- Add salt if desired.
- Cover and vent.
- Cook on 650 Watts full power for 10 minutes.
- Remove from the microwave, and leave covered for 2
minutes.
- Fluff up with a fork and serve hot.
Microwave ovens vary, please adjust cooking times
accordingly.
